Glucose Goddess Giveaway Terms and Conditions

Dexcom, Inc. “Dexcom” is holding a giveaway starting on Monday, May 12th, at 9am EST and ending Friday, May 16th at 11:59pm EST to celebrate Dexcom’s collaboration with The Glucose Goddess.

Fifty [50] prize winners will receive one [1] copy of The Glucose Goddess Method book by Jessie Inchauspé and one [1] Stelo 2-pack.

The following giveaway rules (the “Giveaway Rules”) are the standard terms and conditions applicable to the Giveaway. No purchase is necessary. Entry in the Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Giveaway Rules.

Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age, except residents of Arizona. Void where prohibited. Healthcare professionals, federal healthcare participants, and Dexcom employees are not eligible to win. Winners must be eligible to use Stelo; meaning they must be 18 years and older and not on insulin.

Entry: To enter, the person must (1) follow both @Stelo and @GlucoseGoddess accounts on Instagram, and (2) leave a comment in the contest post that tags two other accounts. All actions must be completed by the deadline specified in the Giveaway announcement. Entries will be declared invalid if the entrants are ineligible. Only one entry is allowed per person. By submitting an entry, you agree to the contest rules.

Ownership: By entering the Giveaway, participants grant Dexcom ownership of all submissions without any additional compensation, including the rights to use, modify, and distribute the submissions.

Instagram Information: Each entrant agrees to completely release Instagram, acknowledges that the Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram.

Prizes: Fifty [50] prize winners will receive one [1] copy of The Glucose Goddess Method book by Jessie Inchauspé and one [1] Stelo 2-pack for a total value at One Hundred and Thirty Five Dollars USD ($135.00). A prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash, unless required by local law. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited and have no cash value. Dexcom reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion.

Choosing a Winner: Fifty [50] winners will be chosen by putting the usernames of entrants into an electronic randomizer.

Notification: The winners will be announced on the Stelo Instagram account by Monday, May 19th and contacted via Instagram DM. Winners must claim prize within 10 days of the May 29th announcement. Limitation of Liability: Dexcom is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Dexcom reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the giveaway without prior notice.

Release and Indemnification: Entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Dexcom, Inc., their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies; the employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of each of the foregoing; and the personal representatives and assigns of the foregoing from any claims, demands, payments, actions, or causes of action for damages, loss or injury, arising as a result of my participating in the Giveaway and accepting the prize, which I or my personal representatives or assigns may now or hereafter have.

Compliance with Laws: The Giveaway will be conducted in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and Dexcom will not discriminate against any entrants on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.

Taxation: Winners are responsible for reporting their winnings based on federal and state tax requirements.

Acceptance; Publicity: Participation in this giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Giveaway Rules. By entering the Giveaway, participants consent to the use of their name and Giveaway submission in any online and online promotional and marketing materials related to the Giveaway selected.
