What is nutrition coaching with Nutrisense?
Nutrition coaching is a one-on-one service that gives you access to Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN) or Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS), who are ready to guide you to optimize your nutrition and food choices. It complements your Stelo experience with personalized, science-backed guidance tailored to your health goals, linking the impact of food on your glucose. In addition, Nutrisense dietitians will provide personalized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) as appropriate, which links treating medical conditions and their associated symptoms using tailored nutrition plans, nutrition counseling, and specialized monitoring.
All dietitians are either Registered Dietitians/Licensed Dietitians (RD/LD) or Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS). Registered Dietitians or Licensed Dietitians have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics, food and nutrition, public health, or a related field, have completed a dietetic internship and passed a national (and in some cases state level) certification exam to practice dietetics and nutrition. Certified Nutrition Specialists follow a similar path, having a Master of Science degree in nutrition, clinical nutrition, or a closely related healthcare field, completing a clinical internship, and passing a national certification exam.
When you work 1:1 with a Nutrisense dietitian, they become your partner on your health journey, helping you stay accountable, motivated, and focused on your nutrition and dietary goals. Using your Stelo biosensor data, they'll help you identify glucose patterns and responses to food, uncover opportunities for optimizing your glucose health through nutrition and food choices, and create personalized strategies that fit your lifestyle. Along the way, they'll be your biggest cheerleaders–helping you overcome obstacles, navigate challenges, celebrate wins, and make sustainable changes around your nutrition, food choices, and glucose health.
As a Stelo user, you can access Nutrisense nutrition coaching with Registered Dietitians or Certified Nutrition Specialists directly – no Nutrisense membership or app required. Simply book online and meet with your Nutrisense dietitian. Most clients are eligible for insurance‑covered video calls, and 95% pay $0 out of pocket.*
